We test a lot of tools here. This page is a curated shortlist, the ones we’d seriously consider if we had to piece together an IT system tomorrow. Some are open-source, some aren’t. Some cost nothing, others are worth paying for. It really depends on the context: your budget, your team size, whether you need to self-host or prefer managed, how much time you have to tinker. These just happen to be the tools that keep coming up when we ask ourselves “okay but what would we actually use?”
